THE WINERY


The origin of Vinícola de Tomelloso dates back to 1986, when 28 families of winegrowers, with own winery, decided to market jointly the wines elaborated in their traditional caves.

The spirit that moves to these partners will be to offer their wines with a different format: a high quality bottling.

In 1991, appeared the first bottled wine: AÑIL. This wine, made with grapes Macabeo, meant a new concept of the Manchego white wines and revolutioned the bottled wines in the region.

Our winery has an important cask aging hall of French and American oak barrels, where we mature our best red wines, and a cavern where we produce our sparkling wines under method Brut Nature.

Today, our aim remains to provide a high quality wine, supported for our recent awards in Spain and the leading international markets.
